ENHANCEMENTS

IntelliChief Mobile Document Viewer

  • Ability to view documents in IntelliChief using an Apple iPad, Apple MACs, Android OS based tablets and other tablet devices.

  • Includes the Inbox, Search and Document Viewer screens. Emails from IntelliChief Workflow that include a link to an IntelliChief document can also be opened and viewed on the device.

  • To access the Mobile Viewer use the following URL: http://IntelliChiefServerName:10800/intellichief/ (or IP address in place of server name).

  • Some features are not available in the Mobile Document Viewer and the Mobile Viewer requires a connection to the network in order to have access to the IntelliChief server.

  • Note both the existing Workbench Document Viewer and Windows IE Viewer continue to be supported with their existing features.

  • Refer to the IntelliChief User Guide for more information on all the IntelliChief Document Viewers.

Workbench Document Viewer

  • A new option for Show Workflow Documents that retrieves the related documents for the Workflow group. However if the document is in a Matching step then it retrieves the matching documents for the Match group. This new option is available by right-clicking on the thumbnail of the document. It requires a DPP Group type of Workflow Display to define the related documents.

  • The existing option for Show Related Documents always retrieves the related document for the DPP Group type of Search.

User/Group Administration

  • New redesigned User/Group Administration user interface.

  • New redesigned Permission Administration user interface for users and groups.

  • Refer to the IntelliChief Administrator Guide for additional information and setup requirements.

Workflow Routing Groups

  • Ability to perform automatic routing based on document modifiers.

  • Ability to automatically route documents to additional approver levels.

  • Refer to the IntelliChief Administrator Guide for additional information and setup requirements.

iSeries Integration Modules (Optional Module) and iSeries Middleware

  • Spooled File Templates – support scan time of zero seconds for data queue based processing, new settings to control output file type and the file copy number.

Miscellaneous

  • Additionally, there are various program fixes to correct minor issues.

Release Update Warnings

  • The URL for direct access to the IntelliChief Document Viewer has changed:

  • From = http://ServerName:10800/quadrant.
  • To = http://ServerName:10800/intellichief.

  • NOTE: If your applications use this URL they must be changed to the new URL, the "quadrant" URL is no longer supported.

  • Release 3.3 requires both the IntelliChief Servers/Environment and IntelliChief on the iSeries to be at release 3.3.

  • Windows 2000 is no longer supported.

  • Internet Explorer 6.0 is no longer supported; must be IE 7.0 or higher.

  • IntelliChief on the iSeries requires V5R3 or higher.

Clarifications

  • Print Capture – Windows 7 and Windows Vista, if the user plans to install and use Print Capture, the Windows User Account Control Settings must be set to Never notify.

  • Viewer/Workbench – Annotations must be positioned within the image/page.

  • Workflow – Workflow Designer is available for only IntelliChief Professional Services.

  • Postscript Print Drivers – Not supported when printing from IntelliChief.

  • Anti-Virus Software – Excluding the Java Runtime directory is recommended for better performance on the client. Excluding the Java Runtime and IntelliChief directories is recommended for better performance on the Server.

  • Context Search – This optional module is not available at this time.

    • NOTE: – Other clarifications and limitations are outlined in the IntelliChief manuals.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT LIFECYCLE
Once IntelliChief releases a new version of the product, previous version(s) will move to a Limited Support or End of Support status.

  • IntelliChief versions in Limited Support: 3.1 and 3.2
    Limited Support refers to the date that IntelliChief no longer provides Service Packs for the release. Individual product fixes are available but limited to issues that have a major impact on the use of the product and have no workaround.

  • IntelliChief versions in End of Support: All versions prior to release 3.1
    End of Support refers to the date that IntelliChief no longer provides product fixes. Technical assistance is available to provide answers to product questions and issues and offer workarounds.
